The keyboard is now fully built except for the stabiliser for the spacebar and shift, and a quick driver program on that Arduino Micro seems to show that all the keys are working and can be properly scanned.
Multiple simultaneous keypresses also register correctly. Now the next step will be to map such keystrokes into USB HID events which the Atmega32u4 in the Arduino Micro can easily generate. Almost to the finish line now!
